When most people talk about Las Vegas weather, they describe it as being a “dry heat.” This is true for most of the year, but come July, not only do we have temperatures between 100-115 degrees Fahrenheit on a daily basis, our humidity soars up to 40-90%. In other words, summer in Vegas feels like living in a sauna. As you can imagine, keeping makeup on in this weather is a challenge, but I’ve finally discovered a foundation that can handle the heat.

Sometimes I do this weird thing where I hesitate to take interest in super popular things. Like, I didn’t start reading Harry Potter until book 3 came out because I just couldn’t imagine the books would live up to the hype (they did). Whether it’s hype anxiety or me being a hipster douchebag for two seconds, I’m not really sure, but it kept me from giving in to Glossier for a good long while. Lidstar was the product that finally broke me down because I had to have the shade Moon. It’s truly one of the prettiest things I’ve ever seen. I figured if I was already placing an order for Moon, I might as well order a few more things, right? I’ve already reviewed the Generation G Lipstick if you’re curious about that one. Today, however, we’re talking about Lidstar, specifically the shades Moon and Lily.

It’s simultaneously one of the most boring makeup products out there and one of the most essential for many of us. Seriously, who else has groaned after receiving yet another black eyeliner in a subscription bag? I sure as hell have. It’s not an exciting product, yet we’ve all got that motivation to find out which one is the very best. Today I’m sharing 3 of the best black eyeliner pencils I’ve ever tried (including one from the drugstore!). Shoutout to everyone who voted in my Instagram poll letting me know you wanted to see this!

Just looking at the Glossier Generation G lipstick and the ColourPop Blotted Lip, it’s easy to see some immediate similarities. However, there are also some important differences that may impact which one you decide to buy, if any. Naturally, I thought a comparison review was necessary. Today I’m sharing my review of the ColourPop Blotted Lip and the Glossier Generation G Lipstick to help you make your decision. Thanks to fellow beauty blogger Maria for inspiring this post!

Marc Jacobs Shameless Foundation is one of the hottest new releases this season. With all of the buzz, it can be hard to decide whether or not to buy such a hyped-up product. Today I’m reviewing Marc Jacobs Shameless Foundation in shades Fair Y130 and Light Y210 to help you decide if this product is something you should be adding to your makeup collection.
