It’s no secret that I’m not much of a summer person, so this post may come as a surprise to you. But, just because I don’t like hot weather doesn’t mean I can’t get down with some other summery themes. I’ll admit, there are parts of summer that I like. Glowing skin, beachy fragrances, and vibrant colors to name a few. More importantly, I know there are some of you out there who are dreading summer coming to a close, so I’ve put together this list of products that will help you cope with the loss. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m gonna go shop for Halloween decorations because Halloween is the best holiday ever and it’s never too early to start decorating for it. Fight me.

St. Tropez Self Tan Bronzing Mousse
Summer may be fading away, but your tan doesn’t have to. This is my favorite self tanner because it’s super easy to apply and it creates a really natural looking tan. My friends didn’t even realize I was wearing fake tan until I said something about. In addition to giving me a bit of color, I like to use false tan to even out my skintone and eliminate tan lines. This tan does have a slight smell, but it’s not nearly as bad as most fake tans. If the smell of fake tan bothers you, try using St. Tropez’s Express Bronzing Mousse. It only takes 1-3 hours before you can wash it off, so you won’t have to deal with the smell as long.

Bath & Body Works Watermelon Lemonade Candle
If you love the sweet, juicy scent of watermelon and the zing of lemon, you need this candle in your life. It basically smells like pink Jolly Ranchers in the best possible way. This candle is so good it will (almost) trick you into thinking it’s still summer.

Maison Martin Margiela Replica Beach Walk
Picture this: you’re laying on the beach wearing a floppy hat watching bright blue water ebb and flow across the white sand. You can smell the sunscreen on your skin, the warm sand, the ocean air, and just a hint of driftwood. That’s Beach Walk. I’ve always been impressed by how vividly this fragrance captures the experience of being at the beach on a warm, sunny day. It’s my absolute favorite fragrance to wear in the summer! Margiela also makes a shower gel, body oil, body lotion, and candle in the same scent.

Clean Reserve Sel Santal
If you prefer a more masculine, clean, woodsy take on a beachy fragrance, you might like Clean Sel Santal. Sel Santal is almost more of a “day on the lake” type of fragrance than it is a walk along the beach. A lot of people also claim this is a dupe for Le Labo’s Santal 33.

Glossier Coconut Balm Dotcom
Summer goes hand in hand with tropical fruits like coconut, so why not get a dose of summer every time you apply your lip balm? I love how glossy and plush this balm makes my lips look.

Marc Jacobs Dew You Dew Drops Coconut Gel Highlighter
Speaking of coconut, how about a highlighter that features a light coconut scent? Coconut milk and coconut water also make an appearance in this liquid gold highlighter. Dew Drops are perfect for making your skin shine like the sun year-round.

Becca Backlight Priming Filter
Carry your summer glow into the cold weather with this primer from Becca. Layered under foundation, this creates a lit from within glow and a subtle blurring effect that will have complete strangers asking what your secret is. Review + swatches are here if you want more info.

Urban Decay Beached Bronzer
Summer is all about bronzed skin, right? Recapture that feeling year-round with Urban Decay’s Beached Bronzer. In addition to the beautiful palm tree compact it’s packaged in, the bronzer helps to add some summery color to your face. It comes in two shades: Sun-Kissed which is lighter and has a pink undertone, and Bronzed which is a deeper true bronze. This bronzer is best suited to light/medium skin. Beached Bronzer can look too warm on fair skin, so if you’re pale, go for Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer instead.

Too Faced Sweet Peach Lip Gloss
The peachy scent of these glosses is heavenly! Bold, glossy colors paired with this fruity scent will transport you back to warmer weather. If you want to know more, I reviewed the shade ‘Tickle Me Peach’ here.
$19 for 0.14 oz at Sephora
A red lipstick with an orange undertone is a great way to add brightness and warmth to your look without looking out of place in the fall. Paired with a white or mustard-colored top? Ugh, stunning. Two of my favorite red-orange lipsticks are Urban Decay Bang and Ofra Liquid Lipstick in Venice. Go with UD if you prefer a traditional cream lipstick, Ofra if you like a comfortable matte.
Urban Decay Vice Lipstick in Bang $8.50 for 0.11 oz at Sephora (on sale! It’s regularly $17)
Ofra Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick in Venice $20 for 6 g at Ofra
