The Coolest New Products I Found On Sephora.com This Week
Makeup
Astrology by Bite Amuse Bouche Lipstick in Virgo $26

Source: Bite Beauty
What it is:
An astrology-themed lipstick.
Why it’s cool:
Ok, I’ll admit it, I’m digging this whole astrology craze we’re having. Maybe it’s because my sign fits me to a T, but I think astrology is fun. This astrology series from Bite makes an already incredible lipstick formula feel extra special. I can’t wait to see what they have in store for Scorpio!
Nudestix Soft & Smokey Set $59

Source: Nudestix
What it is:
A collection of eye and lip colors to achieve a smoky, sultry look.
Why it’s cool:
I love Nudestix in general, but these eye and lip sets are always such a great curation of products. I love how convenient and easy to use these are, and just think of how little room these would take up in your makeup bag!
Shiseido VisionAiry Gel Lipstick $26

Source: Shiseido
What it is:
A long-wearing gel lipstick.
Why it’s cool:
I love the idea of a lipstick that’s both comfortable and long lasting. They exist, but they’re rare. Always happy to see more variations on this type of product.
Skincare
J. One Red Jelly Pack $42

Source: Glow Recipe
What it is:
A hydrating primer.
Why it’s cool:
This primer gets its color from red algae, which is a powerful antioxidant. It also contain hyaluronic acid and moringa seed oil to hydrate skin, niacinamide to brighten, plus several nutritious fruit extracts.
Belif Aqua Bomb Mist $34

Source: Belif
What it is:
A hydrating face mist.
Why it’s cool:
It contains Lady’s Mantle Extract to hydrate skin and Star Weed (Chickweed) to boost radiance. Belif also claims that you can spray it over your makeup without messing it up. I love their Aqua Bomb and Moisture Bomb creams, so I’m very interested in this mist!
Moon Juice Beauty Shroom Vegan Collagen Protection $58

Source: Moon Juice
What it is:
A supplement to protect the body’s natural collagen.
Why it’s cool:
The body naturally produces collagen, which helps to support the bouncy, supple, radiant appearance we associate with youthful skin. When collagen breaks down as we age, wrinkles develop. Most people can take supplemental collagen to help prevent wrinkles from forming, but it’s an animal-derived ingredient so vegetarians (like me!) and vegans typically choose not to ingest collagen. As an alternative Moon Juice created this supplement that helps to protect collagen from breaking down and hydrates the body. It’s a great way for vegetarians and vegans to treat their skin from the inside!
Moon Juice Beauty Shroom Exfoliating Acid Potion $39

Source: Moon Juice
What it is:
An exfoliating serum with adaptogens.
Why it’s cool:
This is probably the product I’m most excited about this week. Not only does it contain lactic acid, glycolic acid, and salicylic acid to exfoliate the skin, it also contains ingredients to hydrate the skin, and reishi, which is a type of mushroom with adaptogenic properties. Adaptogens help the body to cope with stress in various ways. In this case, it helps to prevent wrinkles from forming and supports a healthy moisture barrier. Reishi is a perfect ingredient to pair with acids, which while beneficial, can damage the moisture barrier if they’re overused. Having an ingredient that will protect against potential damage is awesome!
Also, totally silly but I love that Moon Juice called this a potion. Makes me feel like I could be a fancy witch if I used this.
Fragrance
Why is no one coming out with new fragrances right now?!
Bath & Body
Still in the summer-fall transition slump.
Hair
Ouai Scalp & Body Scrub $38

Source: Ouai
What it is:
A foaming sugar scrub.
Why it’s cool:
I know, a scrub, right? Big whoop. But here’s the cool thing: this scrub contains probiotics. Probiotics are typically something you would ingest, but some evidence has shown probiotics to be beneficial when applied to the skin too. They can help to protect the skin against bad bacteria and reduce inflammation.
Tools & Brushes
Nothing exciting here.
Short and sweet this week! *cue Shane Dawson conspiracy theory music* I’m betting a bunch of new stuff will drop after the sale so they can entice us to spend more money. Be sure to keep an eye out for episodes 4 and 5. I have a feeling they’re gonna be good!
Thanks for reading!
