If you haven’t heard already, Sephora is having a rare sale. Rouge members can shop starting today August 24, and get 20% off in stores and online with the code “YESROUGE” until September 3. VIB members can access the sale starting August 30 with the code “YESVIB” to get 15% off. Finally, Beauty Insiders can get 10% from August 30-September 3 using code “YESINSIDER”.
These are some of the products I think are worth picking up during the sale. Happy shopping!

Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir Mascara
This is my current favorite mascara. I love that it’s super dark black, and the formula makes my lashes look longer and fuller without making them crunchy.
Marc Jacobs Highliner
These are some of the best eyeliners I’ve tried! Highliners are super creamy, long-wearing twist up eyeliners. There’s also a great color range.
Marc Jacobs Poutliner
My absolute favorite lip liner formula! They glide on to the lips, but set to help lipstick latch on. Always makes my lipstick last longer, and also a great lip color on their own.
Nudestix Nudies All Over Face Color in Bondi Bae
I love Nudestix products in general, and this is an excellent cream bronzer. Easy to blend with a skin-like finish (no shimmer!) and a formula that doesn’t fade throughout the day like some cream products do. I reviewed it here.
Becca Backlight Priming Filter
LOVE. This primer helps me live my best glazed donut life. It creates an absolutely stunning lit-from-within glow that gets me compliments all the time! See it in action in my review.
Make Up For Ever Aqua XL Eyeliner
My other favorite eyeliner formula! These are waterproof, so great if you have watery eyes like me. I reviewed it here.
Urban Decay Color Correcting Fluid in Peach
If you have severe dark circles like I do, you need this. This is the best corrector I’ve found to camouflage my dark circles. It still doesn’t completely hide them, but I think this is the best it’s ever gonna get for me without under eye filler.
Rather than recommend specific shades of lipstick I thought I’d just tell you my favorite formulas.
Cream finish: Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche, Urban Decay Vice, Hourglass Girl Stylo
Matte finish: Smashbox Be Legendary, Urban Decay Vice Lipstick, Too Faced Peach Kiss Lipstick
Farmacy Green Clean
Favorite makeup remover, period. Also smells like lime sherbet! Reviewed here.
Farmacy Clean Bee
One of the few face washes that doesn’t irritate my skin. Completely in love with the way this makes my skin feel. Just reviewed it.
Kora Organics Noni Glow Face Oil
If you’re looking for a face oil that will provide nutrition and radiance, this is one of the best! It’s not as slick as most oils, so if your skin is more on the normal to oily side, this face oil is probably going to be more up your alley than most. It’s also great for acne prone skin and has a totally addicting fruity scent.
Fresh Seaberry Oil
Looove. Seaberry is another great ingredient for acne prone skin. This oil is best for people with dry skin looking to add moisture. Also has Omegas 3, 6, 7, and 9.
Fresh Rose Face Mask
An excellent face mask for adding moisture to the skin. I love to use this right when I get out of the shower to lock in moisture. Smells like juicy roses, but if you don’t like the smell of roses you’re obviously not going to enjoy this.
Belif Aqua Bomb and Moisture Bomb
Two of my favorite moisturizers, they’re excellent for keeping the skin hydrated and supple. Aqua Bomb is best suited to oily skin and/or hot humid climates, while Moisture Bomb is better for dry skin and dry climates.
Sunday Riley Luna
Face oil/retinoid combo. Great for treating acne, texture, and preventing signs of aging. I also like to mix a little bit into my hand cream during the winter to heal dry skin and keep my hands from looking like a hot mess. I reviewed Luna and Good Genes awhile back.
Verb Ghost Oil Shampoo and Conditioner
I love these for creating smooth, hydrated hair without weighing it down. Also way less expensive than most of the other hair care brands at Sephora. These are only $16 per bottle.
Verb Ghost Oil
My favorite hair oil, by far. This oil won’t add weight to your hair, but it will help to smooth and protect it. Also great for detangling hair, which is actually what made me fall in love with it in the first place.
Bumble and Bumble Dryspun Texture Spray
Amazing for creating light, airy, voluminous curls or a more ‘lived in’ look with straight hair. Great way to create hold if you feel like your hair is too slippery to style.
Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Dry Shampoo
Hands down the best dry shampoo ever. Actually makes my hair look, feel, and smell clean without leaving a gross residue behind.
Jo Malone Wood Sage & Sea Salt
There’s tons of fragrances that I could recommend, but I think this is a great option for this time of year. It’s also a more unique fragrance than a lot of the other things available at Sephora. Beachy and woody. The salt note really makes it stand out as something special. If you want more fragrance recommendation, check out my post about Fall/Winter Fragrances. Not all of the fragrances in that post are sold at Sephora, unfortunately.
Sol de Janeiro Brazillian Bum Bum Cream
If you’re trying to hold on to the last bits of summer (or just want a really good body cream) this is something that will be right up your alley. Hydrates and smooths the skin, plus it has a great tropical scent.
