The Sephora sale starts today! If you’re curious about what I recommend picking up, check out my recommendations post. As for what I’m buying… idk, man. I’m so conflicted about what I actually want/need right now, but here’s what’s currently on my list. I tried to narrow it down to the products I realistically might buy rather than recounting half of my wishlist to you. I’m not tryna be here sifting through products for the next decade, and neither are you.

My Beauty Insider Appreciation Sale Wishlist
Hourglass Caution Extreme Mascara
I may be pretty committed to my Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir mascara, but I do sometimes have issues with it flaking or smearing a tiny bit. Every single person that’s talked about this Hourglass mascara has says that’s not an issue with Caution. They’ve basically made it sound like it hung the moon, and I’m buying in to the hype in this case.
Hourglass Illume Sheer Color Trio
The release of this product was so chill I actually thought it was a repromote until I saw Samantha Ravndahl use it about a month later. Like Sam, I live for cream products. I think they look so much more skin-like than powders. I typically don’t like face color trios like this because I find that there’s almost always one product that doesn’t work for, but after seeing Sam use it, I’m pretty confident that it could work for me. The texture looks stunning too!
Bite French Press Lip Gloss
The Bite Beauty French Press lipglosses were actually already on my list (because coffee. because lip gloss.) but they’ve also been featured in almost every Sephora sale recommendation video I’ve watched. It’s definitely got me lusting over them! I have no clue what color I want though.
I just need a new concealer in general, but I thought I’d post about the ones I’m considering to see if you guys have any opinions. Whatever it is, it needs to be compatible with MAC Face & Body since that’s what I wear most of the time. A lot of concealers like Shape Tape are too pigmented and too dry, so they sit funny with F&B. Since I have dark circles, I’d ideally like something with medium coverage. I also struggle with shade ranges since I have an olive undertone, so that limits my choice as well. The Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer is actually perfect, but none of the shades work for me, I always have to mix it with something else.
The ones I’m considering are Too Faced Born This Way Sculpting (hydrating, but possibly too opaque?), Too Faced Born This Way Naturally Radiant (probably my best bet but idk if any of the colors will work for me, they all look a little off), YSL All Hours (might be too matte and too much coverage), or First Aid Beauty Hello FAB Bendy Avocado (abysmal shade range).
Farmacy Honey Savior All In One Repair Salve
I tried a sample of this a few months ago and realized it’s basically a miracle product that I’ll need in my life come winter. I overexfoliated my face a bit and had a lot of dry, irritated, broken out skin as a result. I needed to get it healed up quickly before a trip and I remembered I had the sample of Honey Savior in my drawer. After applying it to my skin every night for a week, I noticed a big change in the texture and hydration of my skin. I helped to heal my skin up so much faster than it would have healed on its own and my skin looked great for my trip. It really is a savior!
Volition Beauty Snow Mushroom Water Serum
I mentioned this in episode 2 of my Cool New Products at Sephora series. It caught my attention because it uses snow mushroom, an ingredient which has absolutely phenomenal hydration properties rivaling hyaluronic acid! With winter coming, I’m going to need to up my hydration game and this serum is at the top of my list for products to help me achieve that.
Maison Margiella Replica By the Fireplace
I’ve wanted this for absolutely ages, but it seems like every time I get ready to buy it, the weather is about to get warmer. The combination of smoky wood and marshmallows make this a distinctly fall scent, it just feels wrong any other time of year. Have the stars finally aligned? Tune in when I get my order next week to find out. The real question is do I get the perfume or the candle? Tough decision.
IGK Rich Kid Coconut Oil Gel
I recently used a sample of this and was amazed by the way it brought my natural waves to life. My hair usually looks so limp and frizzy when I let it dry naturally, but Rich Kid gave me smooth, soft, defined waves. It actually made me like my natural hair for once.
Bath & Body
Sol De Janeiro
I loved using Bum Bum Cream, and now I’d really like to try out more from the brand. I’m just not sure what to try. Brazillian 4 Play body wash? Brazillian Touch hand cream? Glow Oil? Idk, what are your faves from the brand?
Moon Juice Brain Dust
Between blogging and my job, I’ve been working 12 hours days lately, and it’s starting to catch up to me. Brain Dust is an adaptogenic supplement that helps to manage stress and improve concentration, which I desperately need right now. I’m also super curious about this brand in general, and I figure this is a good place to start.
As usual, I’ll probably only buy 2-3 products because spending large amounts of money at once makes me anxious af. Luckily, I can use Ebates to save a little extra money (which usually goes back in to buying products for the blog!). I’ve been using Ebates for years and it’s saved me literally hundreds of dollars. Sign up here (referral link) if you wanna save some $$! You’ll also get $10 if you sign up using my link!
